What is Needlepunch Filter Media?

Needlepunch Filter Media is a kind of synthetic fiber material that enhances the filtration efficiency by using electrostatic force and can also be called Tribo-charging media. The Needlepunch Filter Media has undergone special treatment (such as corona charge, frictional charge, etc.), which endows the fiber surface with a persistent static charge, making it an “electret” (an electrolyte material capable of storing charge for a long time). Its main raw material is polypropylene (PP).
